After twenty years of working in corporate for a financial publishing firm, my position in data collection, reporting, and analysis was outsourced overseas. Four months later, after training my replacement via Skype, I walked out the door asking myself, “What do I do next?”

I had to pivot 180 degrees, remembering my administrative days supporting the chairman of the board of an international conglomerate. So, I achieved a new position as employee #3 for a Massachusetts’ fintech start-up, and for two years I played a key role in the company's management team.

Still, the winds of change whispered in my ear, and alas, my husband and I uprooted ourselves to move to sunny Florida. It’s here where I decided to start MyVirtualGal™ so that I can support small business owners wherever they are located.
