Our Approach to AI

MyVirtualGal™ uses artificial intelligence (AI) thoughtfully and selectively to support certain content, research, administrative, and productivity tasks.

AI is a tool in my workflow — not a replacement for human judgment, experience, creativity, or client direction. I remain responsible for reviewing the work I produce and for making the final decisions about what is delivered to clients.

As AI technology continues to evolve, the specific tools and ways I use them may change. This policy explains the principles that guide my use of AI.

How I Use AI

Depending on the project and the client's needs, I may use AI to assist with tasks such as:

• Brainstorming ideas, topics, headlines, and content approaches
• Researching and organizing information
• Creating outlines or first drafts
• Editing, revising, proofreading, and improving readability
• Summarizing information
• Developing content variations or repurposing existing content
• Generating ideas for marketing, email and social media content
• Supporting administrative and productivity tasks

AI-generated material is not automatically considered finished work. I review, edit, and, when appropriate, fact-check AI-assisted content before delivering it to a client or publishing it on a client's behalf.

Human Judgment Comes First

AI can be useful, but it can also produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information.

For that reason, I do not rely on AI alone to make final decisions about client work. My experience, professional judgment, and knowledge of the client's goals, audience, voice, and instructions remain central to the work.

AI does not replace the relationship between MyVirtualGal™ and my clients.

Protecting Client Information

Client confidentiality is important to me.

I take reasonable steps to avoid submitting confidential, sensitive, or personally identifiable client information to AI tools when it is not necessary for the task.

I do not intentionally enter passwords, payment credentials, account access information, or other highly sensitive security information into AI tools.

When AI assistance is appropriate, I may use generalized, anonymized, or limited information rather than identifiable client information whenever practical.

Clients remain responsible for identifying information they consider confidential or subject to special restrictions and communicating any requirements to me before work begins.

What I Do Not Use AI For

MyVirtualGal™ does not use AI as a substitute for professional advice that requires a licensed or qualified professional.

I do not use AI to make employment, financial, legal, medical, or other high-stakes decisions on behalf of clients or their customers, employees, or other individuals.

I also do not knowingly use AI to create deceptive content, impersonate an individual, or create misleading representations of a person, business, or organization.

Your Preferences Matter

Clients who prefer that AI not be used in connection with their work may request an AI-free workflow.

I will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests. Because AI can be integrated into some software and business platforms, the specific limitations of an AI-free workflow may depend on the tools required for a particular project. Any significant limitations or changes to the scope of work will be discussed with the client.

Keeping This Policy Current

AI technology and industry practices continue to change. I may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the tools I use, the services I provide, or the way AI technology is incorporated into my work.
